Weather
In the winter we get lots of snow. Snow is precipitation. When it gets below 32 degrees the precipitation will become snow because the droplets of water will freeze. The atmosphere changes because the earth tilts away from the sun. Sometimes the temperature gets below 0 degrees. We measure the temperature with a thermometer. It gets very cold. Sometimes the windchill gets very cold so we get a day off of school. It's too cold and the buses can break down. Sometimes we get more than 6 inches of snow! The buses can't go so school is canceled! You will get a phone call or an email from the superintendent.
